Betteshanger Country Park, a 250-acre former colliery park near Deal that is also home to the Kent Mining Museum, runs Forest School sessions tailored to home-educated children. Activities mix outdoor learning and creative tasks with practical skills such as bushcraft and problem-solving, giving children a chance to socialise and learn outdoors in groups.
