A large hands-on interactive science and technology centre with a planetarium, just outside Winchester. On dedicated Home Educator Days the schools leave from 2pm and the centre is effectively given over to home-educating families: the Inspirers team is on hand from 2pm to 3pm and a presenter-led planetarium show (The Magical Mystery Tour) is tailored to home educators at around 3.15pm. Bookable Home Educator Day Out sessions add a STEM workshop, with two arrival/workshop slots (10am or 10:30am). Home-ed admission is roughly £7.50 per child (under-2s free), one supervising adult free, with a planetarium add-on of about £3.50. Pre-book online.
